CES 2023

CES® 2023 digital health track features leading experts, innovation and more.

Digital health tools transform our lives every day, improving access to care, accelerating cures, and bridging health inequities.

Digital health continues to grow in importance for CTA, which is reflected in our conference programming at CES® 2023 and on the exhibit floor. If it’s happening in health tech, attendees will see and hear about it at CES. Our digital health track offers opportunities to hear leading digital health experts discuss critical issues such as women’s health, healthcare in the metaverse and cybersecurity.

Exhibitors

This year, over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids will hit store shelves for the first time, dramatically lowering costs and improving access for millions of consumers living with mild to moderate hearing loss. The exhibit floor will show off the latest and greatest in OTC hearing aids from Nuheara. Those looking to discover how digital health tools can bridge equity divides can visit with BioIntelliSense, which recently announced a skin-tone sensitive pulse oximetry sensor after many stakeholders, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, voiced concerns around data indicating that pulse oximeters did not work well for users with darker skin tones. Abbott, which gave a keynote at CES 2022, will return to CES 2023 to exhibit exciting innovations in laboratory and diagnostic testing. Other notable exhibitors include AT&T Business, Humetrix, MedWand Solutions, Omron Healthcare and Withings.

Industry Speakers

The digital health conference track at CES will kick off this year with opening remarks on the future of digital health from visionaries Dr. Carlos Nunez, chief medical officer at ResMed and CTA health division board chair-elect, and Dr. Bobby Mukkamala, immediate past chair of the American Medical Association. Dr. Nunez and Dr. Mukkamala will set the tone for the two-day track focused on how innovation revolutionizes healthcare. Attendees won’t want to miss the Bridging the Gap of Care panel featuring Janet Foutty, executive chair of the board, Deloitte; Carina Edwards, CEO, Quil; and Dr. Jennifer Schneider, CEO, Homeward Health. Also looking to the future, believers and skeptics alike will want to catch Separating the Metaverse Hype from Reality.

Policy Updates

While it’s important to have a vision for the future, it’s also important to address some of the issues health care stakeholders face today. At Data in the Age of Public Health Emergencies, leading public health experts, including Dr. Alex Garza from SSM Health and Dr. Lee Schwamm from Mass General Brigham Digital, will discuss the critical role data will play in future public health emergencies. And as healthcare actors face increasing cybersecurity challenges and attacks, experts presenting at Cyber and Other Threats: Protecting Digital Health, include representatives from the U.S. Secret Service.

Digital health is now an integral part of CES. Between the show’s cutting-edge exhibitors, expert panelists and diverse attendees representing health systems, providers, payers and tech innovators, CES offers something for everyone interested in digital health.
