Viewers will experience Voice Plus audio clarity for better dialogue enhancement and interactive capabilities to get more out of live sports, news, events and more in real time. They’ll also have access to enriched content such as an on-demand video library, an innovative TV guide and advanced emergency alert notifications.

What type of content will have these features?

Upon initial roll-out in 2020, the service will offer NEXTGEN TV features on select broadcast networks (such as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, PBS, Telemundo, Univision) for TV programming such as news, primetime and sports. There is a multi-year plan to continually release new features – and make the features available over time on additional networks and platforms.
