Biography:
Stephanie Fiore is the Director of Digital Health Technology Policy at Elevance Health, which is a lifetime, trusted health partner fueled by its purpose to improve the health of humanity. Elevance Health supports consumers, families, and communities across the entire care journey – connecting them to the care, support, and resources they need to lead healthier lives.
In her role, Stephanie works with federal, state, and stakeholder groups to advance health policy considerations for artificial intelligence, data exchange and interoperability, digital health equity, and emerging technologies. Stephanie previously worked on federal health IT regulations and in various health information technology research and consulting roles. She is based in Los Angeles, California.

Peter Shintani is a Staff Engineer at Sony Electronics. With a passion for STEM studies that started in high school, Mr. Shintani then completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia. He then spent some time working as a test engineer for a PABX manufacturer prior to returning to the University of Tokyo to complete his Masters.
Mr. Shintani joined Sony in TV electrical design at the golden age of analog and CRTs, with the lucky opportunity to support the industry when a TV chassis was something that a single engineer could fully comprehend. In time, Peter had the opportunity to support horizontal deflection, HV regulatory design, and video processing. Around 2013, he had the opportunity to transition from electrical product design to standards work, expanding into the role, both mentally and physically.

Dr. Louay Bassbouss is a researcher and Senior Project Manager R&D in the Future Applications and Media (FAME) business unit at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS). He works on future web applications, multimedia technologies and standards, media streaming over 5G, and technologies that enable Metaverse experiences across different devices and platforms.
Louay actively participates in various standardization groups in W3C, HbbTV and CTA. He is the co-chair of the W3C Second Screen Working and Community Groups and actively contributes to various testing activities in HbbTV and CTA WAVE. Louay is also a lecturer at the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin) in the field of open distributed systems and advanced web technologies.

Zachary Cava is a Sr. Principal Software Engineer, Architect at Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology. In this role, he leads the Media Ecosystem Architecture team overseeing the architecture and long-term strategy for the Media Engineering systems that power media across the Company.
Cava began his career as a Living Room Developer at Hulu, where he worked to bring the Hulu streaming application to a variety of consumer devices. He then went on to serve as a Software Architect overseeing the video platform architecture powering playback and advertising experiences for Hulu.
An active participant in industry media standards, Cava is always looking to enable broader interoperability of systems and the next generation of media experience personalization and interaction. Towards these efforts, Cava is the chair of the DASH-HLS Interoperability Group at the CTA WAVE project responsible for the CTA-5005 DASH-HLS Interoperability Specification, Chair of the Advertising Working Group in the SVTA, and contributor to various MPEG-DASH and DASH-IF initiatives.
Cava received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Washington. He resides in Seattle with his wife and three kids.

Richard Cottingham joined Resillion UK a Project Manager at the beginning of 2023. He leads the company’s activities in the CTA WAVE programme, primarily the ‘Observation Framework’ component of the Wave Streaming Media Test Suite. Additionally, Richard is managing Resillion’s ATSC3.0 related projects including the development of the CTA NEXTGEN TV and A3SA test suites.
Prior to Resillion, Richard spent over 17 years in the global telecoms industry, collaborating with all the major players in the devices ecosystem to bring the latest connected consumer products to market.

Andi Hall is CEO and co-founder of SpireSpark International, which provides certification/conformance program development, consulting, and engineering services. For over 10 years she worked as Director of Technical Operations for the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) building and maintaining the world-class DLNA Certification Program. Prior to that she served as a technical standards representative for HP in multiple connectivity alliances. She holds a BS in Information Technology and a Master of Science in Information Security. Andi currently specializes in consumer IoT cybersecurity standards and their use in governance and policy in the US, UK, and EU.

Yan Jiang joined Resillion as a Senior Engineer in 2019. Her involvements include the WAVE project, Device Observation Framework, audio test content for the WAVE Streaming Media Test Suite and the WMAS API test subset for ATSC3.0/HbbTV conformance testing. Yan is also heavily involved in HbbTV, providing the HbbTV Automation tool, TAR report and test cases.
Prior to joining Resillion, Yan spent more than 10 years in the civil engineering industry, delivering various critical software systems such as motorway sign control systems and traffic monitoring CCTV.

Alexa Lee is the Cyber Policy Lead at Qualcomm’s Global Government Affairs Team. In this role, Lee works on global policy priorities on cybersecurity and data governance. Lee is currently a Non-Resident Cyber Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, where she published analysis on the U.S-China technology competition. Lee is also an Associate Editor of the New America/Stanford University DigiChina Initiative, where she contributes analysis on Chinese ICT policies.
Before joining Qualcomm, Lee worked at the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI), a leading industry association for the tech industry based in Washington DC, focusing on global cyber, supply chain, and data privacy policy. Lee received a Prudential fellowship at the Brookings Institute’s Center for East Asia Studies, where she researched on US-China relations, Taiwan, and Asia security and economic issues. She interned at the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce with a focus on US-Asia relations. Lee holds a Master's in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).

Peter Shorrock is a Program Manager at Resillion UK overseeing the delivery of conformance testing products for consumer electrical devices such as televisions and for standards including ATSC3, HbbTV and CI Plus. His work with the CTA WAVE project has mainly been focussed on developing conformance testing of the Device Playback Specification.
Before joining Resillion and working in the Broadcast industry, Peter worked for several years across a range of other industries including Aerospace where he delivered software solutions for aircraft wing design, wing aerodynamics and mass properties; Defence where he delivered safety critical software as part of the F-35B program, and the Industrial sector delivering early e-business solutions.

Daniel Silhavy is a scientist and project manager at the business unit Future Applications and Media (FAME) of the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS). He is the lead developer of the dash.js project and the development coordinator for the 5G-MAG Reference Tools.
His main area of expertise includes Adaptive Bitrate (ABR) Streaming focusing on MPEG-DASH, Digital Rights Management (DRM), 5G Media Streaming and video-encoding.
Daniel is actively contributing to standardization work done in DASH-IF and CTA-WAVE. Moreover, Daniel is giving lectures at the Technical University of Berlin and is supervising Bachelor and Master theses.
As part of his work in dash.js and the 5G-MAG Reference Tools, Daniel has developed in-depth knowledge in the field of media streaming and related specifications (ISO,3GPP,DVB,DASH-IF) and technologies, C++ programming, as well as web-based technologies and APIs such as HTML, JavaScript, node.js, MSE and EME.
Daniel has published various technical papers covering topics around ABR media delivery, 5G Broadcast, 5G Media Streaming and streaming analytics.

Dr. Thomas Stockhammer joined Qualcomm in 2014 and now acts as Senior Director Technical Standards. In his different roles, he coauthored more than 200 research publications, more than 200 patents and 1000s of standards contributions. He is the active and has board, leadership and rapporteur positions in 3GPP, DVB, MPEG, IETF, ATSC, CTA, ETSI, Metaverse Standards Forum and the DASH-Industry Forum in multimedia communication, TV-distribution, 5G broadcast, content delivery protocols, immersive media representation, adaptive streaming, XR and the Metaverse.
Among others, he leads MPEG-I Scene Description efforts, DASH-IF Technical working group, 3GPP Video and XR activities as well as DVB-5G activities. He received several awards for work on DASH, media delivery and 5G Broadcast, namely the INCITS Technical Excellence Award 2013, the 3GPP Excellence award 2017, the CTA Technology & Standards Achievement Award 2019 and an Emmy Inventor Award for in 2022. He is regular speaker and Program Committee Member at events such as IBC, DVB World, Mile High Video, MWS or BroadThinking. In January 2023, he was elevated to IEEE Fellow for his contributions to media delivery and video streaming standards.
