Consumers need to know what to expect from their powerbanks, for example how many times a smartphone can be charged with a powerbank, how fast it can be charged, and whether or not tablets or laptops can be charged with the powerbank, too. This standard aims to help manufacturers relay such information to consumers through use of product markings.
