This research, in collaboration with Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA), seeks to:

• Define and examine the future of the Smart Home as a Service (SHaaS) business model, and address the many challenges and opportunities that exist with this evolution.
• Define SHaaS, understand the trends and forces that are enabling it, and detail the ways in which it will develop and impact the current Smart Home market.
• Identify and expand on the top service offerings that will arise under SHaaS and examine the technology innovations needed to accelerate the evolution of SHaaS.
• Examine customer buying behaviors, needs, and willingness to pay for emerging Smart Home service offerings.
• Provide actionable insights as it relates to the current and future market opportunities for players across the Smart Home value chain in the context of SHaaS.
• Examine new go-to-market channels, player ecosystems, and innovator case studies that will arise under SHaaS, paying special attention to the groups with the highest areas of influence.
• Develop recommendations for how firms should structure their organization and offerings to capture new value from smart, connected offerings.
