Foundation Grants

The foundation’s grants strategically support programs that improve the lives of seniors and people with disabilities. Because we consider grants part of a partnership, we work closely with our grantees to ensure their programs’ success.

    Provided support for the RPB Innovations in Technology Low Vision Research Award.

    Resident Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency and Empowerment (ROSE) Foundation

    Rose Foundation provides housing and support to seniors and disabled individuals in Las Vegas, Nevada. The grant will support technology to engage seniors and help decrease social isolation and loneliness.

    Provided support for their Tech Ambassador.

    Funding to cover the new costs of technology hardware and software to allow staff to more fully engage our clients in remote independent living skills training.

    ServiceSource, Inc. Technology Grant Program help bridge the digital divide and mitigate social isolation among older adults by enabling connection to their virtual programs and social engagement opportunities through the provision of no-cost tablets alongside technology education and support.

    Brought the award-winning Senior Planet technology program to South Florida to improve digital literacy and reduce social isolation in seniors.

    The “environment navigator” pilot program will help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to efficiently orient themselves with new jobs and roles.

    United Spinal Association

    The United Spinal Association is aiming to grow the Tech Access component of their 2024 Strong Wheeled Together Conference (SWTCon). Expansion of the Tech Access Programming will focus on utilizing technology to reduce loneliness, isolation, and bolster mental health and wellness among wheelchair users, as well as placing technology at the heart of travel and recreation for wheelchair users.
