For the ninth consecutive year, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) was recently named one of the
2019 Best Places to Work in Virginia. The annual list of the
Best Places to Work in Virginia, which is made up of 100 companies, was created by
Virginia Business and Best Companies Group.
This statewide survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Virginia, benefiting the state's economy, workforce and businesses. Nominated companies entered into a two-part survey process to evaluate workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, as well as employee experience.
CTA, the nation's largest tech trade association, has almost 200 employees and has a higher than average share of women in management compared to its peers. About two-thirds of CTA’s staff are women, and more than half of the organization’s executive team are women.

- Flexible work arrangements: CTA offers a telework option for staff to work from home one day a week, as well as summer hours with 1 PM close on Friday’s from May – September.
